Pastor Ray Cummings has served Trinity faithfully for over 45 years!!! In his partial retirement status, he serves Trinity as associate pastor. He is a gifted shepherd and counselor. In addition to teaching and preaching, he makes frequent hospital and shut-in visits, and oversees the Good Samaritan food pantry. The insightful wisdom of Pastor Ray Cummings will always be an invaluable part of the preaching and ministry at Trinity!

Pastor Steven Ware and his family have been members at Trinity for more than ten years. With a PhD in History, he served for 18 years as Professor of Historical Theology at Nyack College/Alliance Theological Seminary before joining Trinity’s staff in 2019. He continues to teach part-time at Concordia College and Regent University. An insatiable researcher and writer, he has written dozens of articles and two books, including When Was Jesus Really Born?: Early Christianity, the Calendar, and the Life of Jesus (Concordia, 2013)—which has taken him to 40+ countries around the world. In addition to preaching and teaching, one of his favorite activities at Trinity has been organizing mission trips. Pastor Steven and his wife Rebecca have three children and two grandchildren. |

Doug has faithfully served Trinity for many years now in many different capacities. As well as serving as one of Trinity’s elders, he also has served as Trinity’s head of music ministry since 2008. In this capacity, he sets worship schedules, organizes teams to run projectors, computers, and cameras for worship time, leads Monday night prayer group, and leads weekend worship himself from time to time. Trinity is very blessed to have Doug, his wife Rosemary, and their children with us at Trinity.

Inga graduated from Queens College with a B.S. degree in computer science, after which she worked for Verizon Phone for 5 years. She married to Sean and together they are raising 4 children; 3 sons and a daughter. She has worked as a homeschool Mom since 2008. In 2013 Inga began as Troop Coordinator for American Heritage Girls at Trinity Lutheran Church. In August 2018, Inga took over as the Office Administrator for the church. She has enjoyed organizing the office, meeting new people, and using her many talents for God’s Glory.

Raymond "David" Cummings III was born and raised in Trinity Lutheran Church. After high school, Ray went off to study Youth Ministry and Christian Education at Nyack College and has served Trinity's Youth Ministry for over 12 years. When he's not sharing Jesus with young humans, he can be found chasing his dreams of guiding outdoor activities such as fishing, hunting, hiking and camping with his company, New York Adventure and hopes to one day save the bees through his organization, Backyard Bees.
