It is our mission to take God's gifts to us - forgiveness, His Holy Spirit, and eternal life - and share them with our community and the world.
Throughout the year, Trinity hosts a series of events where we invite anyone and everyone to join us for fun and fellowship. From our movie nights, men's breakfast, and coffee chats to our annual Chili Cookoff, there are lots of opportunities for us to come together. Check our church calendar for dates and descriptions.
Trinity runs a food bank in the town of Walden where we give food and supplies to families in need. We pick up donated food from local supermarkets and create "manna bags" of various items. Through this, we want to share the love of God and help provide for the needs of the community. In 2016, we handed out approximately 2,500 "manna bags" and served over 3,500 people at the Good Samaritan.
End Times Harvest
In the late 1990's, one of our families at Trinity had a vision to start a Bible college in the country of Ghana. End Times Harvest ministries was incorporated in Ghana in 1999 and launched with the prayers and support of our church. The ministry has grown and thrived over the years. Through the end of 2016, there have been over 500 graduates from the college who are now serving as pastors, ministry founders, church leaders, professors, and missionaries. The Alpha Course
The Alpha Course is an opportunity for anyone to explore spirituality from a Christian perspective. The Alpha course is relaxed, non-threatening, low-key, and fun. Alpha is a place to ask anything. No question is considered too simple or too hostile. There are over ten thought-provoking weekly sessions where Alpha guests share meals, listen to a series of talks, and then have small group discussions. Each talk covers a fundamental question, such as: “Who is Jesus?” “Why and How Do I pray?” and “Does God Heal Today?”
The Alpha course is free and everyone is welcome. For more information contact the church office at 778-7119 and ask to be put in touch with Tom Forrester.
